One Job too Many Backgrounds

Backgrounds were created in clip studio with the textured brush. My process was to first draw up a draft image (sometimes for the more complicated backgrounds I would draw up two or 3 draft versions before the line work stage). Next would be the line work, then adding in the flat colours. Lastly I would add in the shadows, highlights and the texture. Sometimes extra effects, like stars or fog was added to help contribute to the atmosphere. It can then be imported into Toon Boom in a different layer for animation.
